If the Mobeye App asks for a registration code (new contact)
Situation: You have just installed the Mobeye Messages app and you want to receive messages from a Mobeye alarm device.
- Enter your details as a contact person in the Mobeye Portal under the blue ‘Contacts’ tab.
- Go to the ‘alarm notification’ section in the device details, add the contact and select ‘app notification’ to receive alarm messages (and/or service messages). For even more reliable notifications, also select ‘fallback call’.
- Once the setting has been saved, the contact person will receive a text message containing the registration code. The code will also appear on the screen.
- Enter the code within 24 hours on the home screen of the Mobeye App. After this the app is ‘ready for use’.
If the Mobeye App asks for a registration code (existing contact).
Situation: you have been assigned as a contact person and have used the app before; when you open the app now, it asks for a registration code. This may be due to an update to your phone or to the app.
- Go to mymobeye.com.
- Enter your username and password.
- Go to the blue ‘Contacts’ tab.
- Edit the relevant contact (click on the icon on the right).
- Select ‘Send code’ on the pop-up screen.
- The code will appear on the screen and will also be sent via text message.
- Enter the code on the Mobeye App’s home screen. You will see ‘no alarms found’ or ‘ready to use’. This means that the app can receive alarm notifications.
If you have forgotten your Mobeye Portal username or password
You can request a new password via the login screen on mymobeye.com. It will be sent to the email address provided in your personal details. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder. If you cannot remember these details, please contact us.
