Mobeye ThermoGuard

The Mobeye ThermoGuard is a reliable temperature alarm system. In the event of an alarm, it sends notifications via push notifications, phone calls, text messages or email.

The Mobeye ThermoGuard is designed to prevent damage by detecting temperature anomalies at an early stage. Set the minimum and/or maximum temperature limits and let the Mobeye ThermoGuard monitor the ambient temperature. Can operate entirely on battery power.

Temperature measurement

The temperature sensor is digital and extremely accurate. The minimum and/or maximum temperature limit can be set between -35 °C and +95 °C. The sensor is factory calibrated and indicates the value with one decimal place.

Alarm messages

In an emergency, the Mobeye ThermoGuard sends alerts via the app (iOS/Android), a phone call (voice message), a text message and/or email. The message also includes the current temperature. For push notifications, you can choose between an escalation plan or a group message. With the escalation plan, the recipient can acknowledge the push notification, meaning the other contacts will no longer receive the message. If none of the recipients acknowledge the push notification, a phone call will still be made. The number of contacts is unlimited.

External voltage vs battery powered

The Mobeye ThermoGuard can operate on batteries for extended periods and is therefore independent of an external power source. Alternatively, a mains power adapter (12–24V DC) can be connected. In this case, the power supply is also monitored directly. If the power supply fails, an alert is triggered. The internal batteries ensure that the alarm unit continues to function for an extended period. The ThermoGuard continues to monitor the temperature limits and input contacts and will still transmit alarm notifications. A signal is also sent when the power supply is restored.

Potential-free alarm inputs

In addition to the temperature sensor, the Mobeye ThermoGuard (CM4200) has two NO/NC inputs for connecting alarm contacts and sensors. These are also used to monitor the status of a device or external sensor, such as an air conditioning unit or a door contact.

Network and SIM card

The Mobeye SIM card, which can be activated online, provides the device with full functionality, including access to the Mobeye Portal and the app. The Mobeye Portal provides an overview of the status, supports online programming and monitors the regular test signal (keep-alive). With the Mobeye SIM card, communication takes place via the 4G network (and 2G). The SIM card offers a choice of multiple providers per country and can be used internationally. Various internal fallback mechanisms ensure reliable communication.

If you insert your own SIM card, the features of the Mobeye Portal and Mobeye App will no longer be available. Alarm notifications will then be sent via text message and/or phone call to a maximum of 5 phone numbers. Please note that not all mobile network operators support the call function, a number of additional security features will no longer be available, and Mobeye will be unable to offer the full range of support options.
