Mobeye CM-Guard-40

The Mobeye CM4040 has four NO/NC inputs for monitoring sensors and signals. In an alarm situation the set contacts are alerted via app, telephone call, SMS or e-mail. A specific alarm text can be assigned to each input, making it immediately clear what the failure is about.

If only two inputs are sufficient, the Mobeye CM4000 is suitable. The Mobeye CM4040 is the more extensive version with four channels, allowing you to monitor more signals with one device.

The CM-Guard-40 operates entirely on battery power or on 12–24 V DC. Any potential-free sensor can be connected. With a range of configuration options, such as customisable alarm messages per input, alarm delay, recovery messages with input-specific text, repeat messages and test messages, the CM-Guard-40 can be tailored to your specific requirements.

Potential-free alarm inputs

The Mobeye CM-Guard-40 (CM4040) has four NO/NC inputs for connecting alarm contacts and sensors. This allows it to monitor the status of multiple devices or external sensors, and to oversee the operation of machinery or the condition of sensors.

External voltage vs battery powered

The Mobeye CM4040 can run for long periods on batteries only, or on external power. As a result, the detector can be used anywhere.

Power failure alarm

When using an external power source, the Mobeye CM4040 also monitors whether the external power supply is present. If the power fails, it sends an alert; by choice via push notification, voice call, text message and/or email. A regulated 12–24V DC power source or a mains adapter can be connected to the power input. As soon as the power fails, the internal batteries take over and a notification is sent. The input contacts and connected sensors continue to be monitored. A message is also sent when power is restored.

Alarm transmission and additional security

The Mobeye SIM card, which can be activated online, provides the device with full functionality, including access to the Mobeye Portal and the app. The Mobeye Portal provides an overview of the status, supports online programming and monitors the regular test signal (keep-alive). With the Mobeye SIM card, communication takes place via the 4G network (and 2G). The SIM card offers a choice of multiple providers per country and can be used internationally. Various internal fallback mechanisms ensure reliable communication.

If you insert your own SIM card, the features of the Mobeye Portal and Mobeye App will no longer be available. Alarm notifications will then be sent via text message and/or phone call to a maximum of 5 phone numbers. Please note that not all mobile network operators support the call function, a number of additional security features will no longer be available, and Mobeye will be unable to offer the full range of support options.
