Mobeye WaterGuard FS

The Mobeye WaterGuard-FS is a reliable water level sensor designed to alert you to changes in water levels. Alerts are sent via push notifications, phone calls, text messages or email.

The Mobeye WaterGuard-FS uses a float sensor to monitor the water level in a tank, basin or water trough. To monitor a second water level, connect a second float sensor. Operates on battery power or an external power supply. If the external power supply fails, it also sends a power failure alert.

Water float sensor

The water float sensor has a moving part that rises and falls with the water level. Inside, it contains a reed switch. The water level causes the float to open or close. The float is installed horizontally, preferably with the hanging part facing downwards. If there is no suitable wall to mount the float on, a stainless steel support bracket (with a hole) can be used.
For detecting water leaks, we recommend the CM4300 with leak sensor.

Alarm messages

Alert notifications are sent via app (iOS/Android), phone call (voice message), text message and/or email. For push notifications, you can choose between an escalation plan or a group message. With the escalation plan, the recipient can acknowledge the push notification, meaning the other contacts will no longer receive the message. If none of the recipients acknowledge the push notification, a call will still be made. The number of contacts is unlimited.

External voltage vs battery powered

The Mobeye WaterGuard-FS can operate on batteries for extended periods and is therefore independent of an external power source. Alternatively, a mains power adapter (12–24 V DC) can be connected. In this case, the power supply is also monitored directly. If it fails, an alert is triggered. The internal batteries ensure that the alarm unit continues to operate for an extended period. The WaterGuard-FS continues to monitor the float sensor and second input contact and will still transmit alarm signals. A signal is also sent when the power supply is restored.

Potential-free alarm inputs

In addition to the level sensor, the Mobeye WaterGuard-FS (CM4300FS) has a second NO/NC input for connecting an alarm contact or sensor. This allows it to monitor a second float, or the status of a device such as a water pump.

Network and SIM card

The Mobeye SIM card, which can be activated online, provides the device with full functionality, including access to the Mobeye Portal and the app. The Mobeye Portal provides an overview of the status, supports online programming and monitors the regular test signal (keep-alive). With the Mobeye SIM card, communication takes place via the 4G network (and 2G). The SIM card offers a choice of multiple providers per country and can be used internationally. Various internal fallback mechanisms ensure reliable communication.

If you insert your own SIM card, the features of the Mobeye Portal and Mobeye App will no longer be available. Alarm notifications will then be sent via text message and/or phone call to a maximum of 5 phone numbers. Please note that not all mobile network operators support the call function, a number of additional security features will no longer be available, and Mobeye will be unable to offer the full range of support options.
