Mobeye WaterGuard

The Mobeye WaterGuard is an effective and user-friendly alarm detector designed to detect water-based liquids. In the event of an alarm, it sends notifications via push notifications, phone calls, text messages or email.

The Mobeye WaterGuard monitors the water level in the basement, pump room, boat and other critical locations. The additional inputs can monitor a pump, a fault signal and the power supply. Operates on battery power or an external power supply.

Leakage sensor

The Mobeye WaterGuard (CM4300) features a leak sensor that detects water-based liquids. As soon as the two pins come into contact with water, an alarm is sent to the designated contacts via the built-in communication module.

To monitor water levels, we recommend the CM4300FS with float sensor.

Alarm messages

Alert notifications are sent via app (iOS/Android), phone call (voice message), text message and/or email. For push notifications, you can choose between an escalation plan or a group message. With the escalation plan, the recipient can acknowledge the push notification, meaning the other contacts will no longer receive the message. If none of the recipients acknowledge the push notification, a call will still be made. The number of contacts is unlimited.

External voltage vs battery powered

The Mobeye WaterGuard can operate on batteries for long periods and is therefore independent of an external power source. Alternatively, a mains power adapter (12–24 V DC) can be connected. In this case, the power supply is also monitored directly. If it fails, an alert is triggered. The internal batteries ensure that the alarm unit continues to operate for an extended period. The WaterGuard continues to monitor the water sensor and input contacts and will still transmit alarm signals. A signal is also sent when the power supply is restored.

Potential-free alarm inputs

In addition to the leak sensor, the Mobeye WaterGuard (CM4300) has two NO/NC inputs for connecting alarm contacts and sensors. This also allows the status of a device or external sensor, such as a water pump, to be monitored.

Network and SIM card

The Mobeye SIM card, which can be activated online, provides the device with full functionality, including access to the Mobeye Portal and the app. The Mobeye Portal provides an overview of the status, supports online programming and monitors the regular test signal (keep-alive). With the Mobeye SIM card, communication takes place via the 4G network (and 2G). The SIM card offers a choice of multiple providers per country and can be used internationally. Various internal fallback mechanisms ensure reliable communication.

If you insert your own SIM card, the features of the Mobeye Portal and Mobeye App will no longer be available. Alarm notifications will then be sent via text message and/or phone call to a maximum of 5 phone numbers. Please note that not all mobile network operators support the call function, a number of additional security features will no longer be available, and Mobeye will be unable to offer the full range of support options.
