CM4500

The Mobeye Panic Button is a simple and effective alarm device. With a single press of the button, it alerts the pre-set contacts via a push notification, voice call, text message or email.

In an emergency or if you need assistance, prompt help may be essential. The Mobeye Panic Button is easy to install under a desk, a bed, or near a machine. It can operate entirely on battery power.

Push button

The Mobeye Panic Button (CM4500) has a large built-in button. Pressing this button for one second triggers the alarm. It is possible to connect two external panic buttons or alarm contacts.

Alarm messages

In an emergency, the Mobeye Panic Button sends alerts via the app (iOS/Android), a phone call (voice message), a text message and/or email. For push notifications, you can choose between an escalation plan or a group message. The group message is sent to everyone at the same time. With the escalation plan, the recipient can acknowledge the push notification, meaning the other contacts will no longer receive the message. If none of the recipients acknowledge the push notification, a call will still be made. The number of contacts is unlimited.

External voltage vs battery powered

The Mobeye Panic Button can operate autonomously on batteries and can therefore be used anywhere. After the button is pressed, the communication module first attempts to establish a network connection. This may take approximately 15 seconds. To speed up the alert process, connect the unit to an external power source using a mains adapter. The alarm will then always have a network connection and will send the alert immediately after the button is pressed.

Network and SIM card

The Mobeye SIM card, which can be activated online, provides the device with full functionality, including access to the Mobeye Portal and the app. The Mobeye Portal provides an overview of the status, supports online programming and monitors the regular test signal (keep-alive). With the Mobeye SIM card, communication takes place via the 4G network (and 2G). The SIM card offers a choice of multiple providers per country and can be used internationally. Various internal fallback mechanisms ensure reliable communication.

If you insert your own SIM card, the features of the Mobeye Portal and Mobeye App will no longer be available. Alarm notifications will then be sent via text message and/or phone call to a maximum of 5 phone numbers. Please note that not all mobile network operators support the call function, a number of additional security features will no longer be available, and Mobeye will be unable to offer the full range of support options.
