Mobeye PowerGuard

The Mobeye PowerGuard excels in simplicity and functionality. This power monitor alerts you in the event of a power cut or a sensor activation via a push notification, phone call, text message or email.

The Mobeye PowerGuard ensures safety and peace of mind by monitoring whether devices are functioning properly and whether the external power supply is working correctly. If any issues arise, you will be notified. Until then, you can focus on your core tasks.

Potential-free alarm inputs

In addition to a 12–24 V DC input, the Mobeye PowerGuard (CM4100) has two NO/NC inputs for connecting alarm contacts and sensors. This allows it to monitor the status of a device or external sensor, and to oversee the operation of a machine or the condition of sensors.

Alarm messages

In an emergency, the Mobeye PowerGuard sends alerts via the app (iOS/Android), a phone call (voice message), text message and/or email. For push notifications, you can choose between an escalation plan or a group message. With the escalation plan, the recipient can acknowledge the push notification, meaning the other contacts will no longer receive the message. If none of the recipients acknowledge the push notification, a call will still be made. The number of contacts is unlimited.

External voltage vs battery powered

The supplied mains adapter or a regulated 12–24V DC power source can be connected to the power input. If the power supply fails, an alert is triggered. The internal batteries ensure that the alarm continues to operate for an extended period. The PowerGuard continues to monitor the inputs and will still transmit alarm signals. As soon as the power supply is restored, a message will also be sent.

Network and SIM card

The Mobeye SIM card, which can be activated online, provides the device with full functionality, including access to the Mobeye Portal and the app. The Mobeye Portal provides an overview of the status, supports online programming and monitors the regular test signal (keep-alive). With the Mobeye SIM card, communication takes place via the 4G network (and 2G). The SIM card offers a choice of multiple providers per country and can be used internationally. Various internal fallback mechanisms ensure reliable communication.

If you insert your own SIM card, the features of the Mobeye Portal and Mobeye App will no longer be available. Alarm notifications will then be sent via text message and/or phone call to a maximum of 5 phone numbers. Please note that not all mobile network operators support the call function, a number of additional security features will no longer be available, and Mobeye will be unable to offer the full range of support options.
