In a professional environment, forwarding the alarm to a control room is reliable and secure. A Private Alarm Center (PAC) is available 24/7 and ensures alarm follow-up according to the specified protocol, as well as an appropriate response if the 24-hour test signal is not received. A control room forwards alarm notifications to private individuals or dispatches a surveillance service.

After 2023, once the last analog telephone lines have been phased out, the PAC will only be able to receive messages via IP. One of the standard protocols for this is SIA DC/09.

For IP alarm forwarding to a control room, the Mobeye CM4100 is a universal alarm transmitter that sends messages via the IP protocol SIA DC/09 to all private alarm centers. Two channels can be selected, allowing zone information to be combined into a single message.
