The Mobeye WaterGuard monitors the water level in the basement, pump house, boat, and at other critical locations. As soon as the water is too high, you will receive an alarm message via call, SMS and/or e-mail.
The Mobeye WaterGuard (CM2300) has a leak sensor that detects water-based liquids. As soon as the two pins feel water, a water alarm notification is sent to the contacts via the built-in GSM module.
Without an external power source, the Mobeye WaterGuard will still do its work. The Mobeye CM2300 works for a long time on a set of batteries. At normal use this is longer than a year. This makes the product suitable for monitoring the presence of water at locations lacking an external power supply.
If an external power supply source is available, we recommend to connect it (with the 12VDC adapter, available as Mobeye accessory). The device can then be accessed online, the batteries last longer and it also immediately functions as a power outage alarm.
In addition to water detection and power failure monitoring, the Mobeye WaterGuard has two potential-free inputs. A float sensor, fault output, or other signal can be connected to this. In this way it is ablso able to monitor the functioning of a water pump.
The Mobeye CM2300 sends alarm notifications by telephone call (max. 5 numbers), text message and / or e-mail. The recipient can “acknowledge” a call, causing the device to stop calling the other numbers. The content of the text messages can be customised. The leakage sensor is connected to the digital input of the Mobeye CM2300. As soon as the sensor comes into contact with a water-based liquid, the sensors make an electrical circuit. The leakage sensor only needs a small layer of water for the detection. This makes it ideal for noticing leakage. If you want to monitor a water level, we recommend the Mobeye CM2300FS; that version is equipped with a float sensor. This also applies to very humid areas and dirty places.
